Down Hill Derby
The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat in Brooklyn Heights. One of the racers made a narrow escape from Jake.
For those of you paying attention, you will notice that the fellow in the last shot is about to guide his trusty steed right over a fissure in the street. One can imagine what happened next. I wasn’t quick enough to catch the aftermath, but someone else was. I salute the gent in the picture. After the crash caused irreparable damage to his racer, he walked, along with what was left of his rig, across the finish line where he was greeted with much applause.

How funny. Where is this and what are the rules? Any wheeled thingy allowed?

This was on Columbia Heights. I think the only requirements were something with wheels and the mettle to ride it down the hill.
