Peterhof & Vicinity
Peterhof was commissioned by Peter the Great in 1714 and completed in 1723. It is about 30 kilometers to the west of St. Petersburg on the Gulf of Finland.

- A church near Peterhof. Sorry, I don’t know the name, but there were at least three weddings going on inside as I took this picture. These weddings were not going on simultaneously, but one at a time. Everyone queued up to wait for the actual ceremony: Bride, Groom, parents, brothers, sisters, photographers… Needless to say, there wasn’t much room for more than immediate family inside the church.

The clarity on these are remarkable. I especially like the first and fourth shots.
